Up to 18 in your group can have an Exclusive Wine Tour for the day. Discover the best of the cool climate wine district on Canberra’s doorstep. With transport and guiding fully taken care of, sit back & enjoy the magnificent wines and beautiful countryside through Canberra’s wine region

With Shiraz the flagship for reds and Riesling the flagship for whites in the Cool Climate Wine Region, as well as a multitude of other varieties; viognier, pinot noir, and cabernet, distinguished wine aficionados and novices alike are sure to find something to their taste.

As this is a fully private group tour, your itinerary will be tailor made for your tastes and preferences. Just let us know during the booking process what your preferences are if you have any. Here's a sample of what is possible:

10 am - Begin Exclusive Wine Tour

We start with pickup at a location chosen by you - we pickup at major Canberra hotels and motels as well as local AirBnB. For visitors from outside town we pickup at the Jolimont Bus Centre. We then take an approximately half hour journey to the first winery of the day somewhere to the north of Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory.
First winery

For example, McKellar Ridge Wines.
Second winery

For example, Shaw Wines Cellar Door
Lunch

Tailored location for you - options include; bistro style food through to wood fire pizza lunch.
Third winery

For example, Four Winds Vineyard

Tour concludes in Canberra with drop off to major hotels & motel chains.

Six of us had the pleasure of enjoying a winery tour with this great company. Bob, our driver and guide, was excellent. He was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We visited five separate wineries and now have new appreciation of Canberra wines and the district around Bungendore and Murrumbateman. I would highly recommend this company

We enjoyed our cool climate wine experience with our tour guide Neil, who has a vast array of knowledge about Canberra’s wine region and its local flora and fauna. We were fortunate enough to visit 6 wineries some of which Neil suggested and one in particular that we wanted to visit. We would recommend this trip to anyone wishing to get a flavour of the Canberra region. The 6 wineries were; Lerida Estate Wines; Four Winds Vineyard; Eden Road Wines; Shaw Vineyard Estate (lunch); Yarrh Wines & Clonakilla. Overall a superb day!

Went with family on a full day wine tour with Canberra Guided Tours. Was great to visit 5 wineries and taste some cool climate wines. Also a great way to relax and see the landscapes around Canberra. Group and guide were friendly.
